What is your name and age?
Kelsey Evans and I’m 30 years old.
What inspired you to get fit?
My journey in recovery and creating lifelong health and wellness for my body and mind.
What keeps you motivated to live the healthy life?
Longevity and mental health.
Describe yourself in three words:
Bubbly, intelligent, driven
How do you balance life, work, training and family?
It's important for me to get my day started early. Dependent on how my body and brain are feeling, I will either workout early or start my work early. There is never really a time in the morning when I am not being productive.
What is your favorite body part to exercise and why?
My brain. The more I challenge my brain with different physical exercises, the healthier it becomes. I desire to work it the most, as it is the element of my body I use the most on a daily basis.
If you had to pick three key exercises - what would they be and why?
Plank, squat, and rows. These three exercises are designed to mimic functional movement in daily life, by using key muscle groups we use on a daily basis.
What is your favorite cheat “treat”?
I believe all natural foods are wonderful for our bodies and mind, but I usually am more moderate about extra "carby" foods- so let's say pizza!
What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in fitness?
We can do ANYTHING we set our minds to.
What was the best part of wearing Affitnity? Did you love the clothing? Tell us why :)
I love Affitnity, and can wear the clothing for ANY activity I do- yoga, running, cycling, lifting, and lounging!
