What inspired you to get fit?
After having my first baby 17 years ago, I was not happy with how my body looked because I had gained about 35 pounds during my pregnancy. I was determined to get back to my pre baby weight so I started going to the gym. I began with classes and moved on to weight training 3 years ago with a trainer. Now I compete in bikini competitions and this is my inspiration to continue my fitness regime.
What keeps you motivated to live the healthy life?
After making exercise and diet a priority, my self esteem is better and I am at a place where I am happy with my body. This has motivated me to continue the healthy lifestyle. The fitness competitions have also made me even more determined to do better. As a result, it has helped me watch my diet and spread the importance of exercise and diet.
How do you balance life, work, training and family?
My kids and family life are my first priority but I always make sure my workouts are a part of my daily routine.
What is your favorite body part to exercise?
My favorite body part are my arms. I can see the results and get many questions on how I get them so toned. I also like the compliments I get too.
If you had to pick three key exercises - what would they be and why?
- Dead lifts to help sculpt my lower back and strengthen it.
- Squats to help firm and grow my gluteus.
- Weighted Hip thrusts to grow my gluteus.
As you can see, my goal is to grow my glutes! :)
My favorite cheat treat are any desserts! I love baked goods. Now, I eat it in moderation.

I have a goal to get my pro card and hopefully get a sponsor.
