No Excuse Single Mom

Posted on 12 April 2016

 1. What is your name and age?
Jenny Bui 39

2. What inspired you to get fit?
It's the way my body fits into clothes and the way I feel inspired me to get fit.

3. What keeps you motivated to live the healthy life?
By leading by example to my baby girl. I want her to have a happy, active and healthy life.

4. How do you balance life, work, training and family?
I'm a single mom so most of my time is devoted to my daughter Sadie, 11. I also own my own business in real estate and residential mortgage. I'm blessed that my work is flexible. I take good care of my daughter and work hard but I believe I deserve my "me time" so I hit the gym everyday while Sadie is in swim practice.

5. What is your favorite body part to exercise?
Legs and glutes because this is where people lack doing the most. It is the love-hate relationship :)

6. If you had to pick three key exercises - what would they be and why?
Burpees, clean and press and deadlift because these are full body workout. These exercises target all the major muscle group.

7. What is your favorite cheat “treat”?
Banana bread pudding with scoop of vanilla ice cream. I love warm dessert with ice cream :)

Keep up the good work Jenny! You’re an inspiration and motivation, drives everyone you meet into become the best fit person they can be. When I try to motivate myself, nine times out of ten I’m pushing myself to do something I don’t really care about. but the word inspiration means to be in spirit. When you’re tuned into your spirit, you are naturally drawn to do whatever feels best. “Motivation is the push. Inspiration is the pull.”
